"We only stayed one night but could easily have stayed for longer. From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly and looked after us attentively. The room had a view of the lake and was comfortable and clean. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent with a good selection, fabulous ingredients, and presentation. Topped off by a stunning location, well worth a stop. It was our wedding anniversary whilst we were there and all the staff were so kind to us. Thank you. "

I had to take a cold shower at 7 in the morning because the warm water just went away and I had the handle turned all the way to hot. Not a great experience. "The place is right next to the water - unobstructed view. The 0.7 mile walk to center of Oban was nice in good weather but we got wet several time (expected this for October). Public transportation was hard to find so needed our car. Our room was a little small and cramped, but we could see other larger rooms. Check in and parking was a bit of a hassle. Great “Continental breakfast “ that included meats, cheeses, baked goods and more- well worth the modest cost "
