"There’s a public beach nearby (NOT a hotel beach) and the Hotel has a pool. The photo from the air is a bit misleading as it looks like the hotel has a beach with lounge chairs, which it does not. The bicycles, which Hotels.com lists as being free to use, are only free for one hour of use, which wasn’t enough for us—we needed more time to make using them feasible. On-site parking is good (but extremely tightly spaced). Room condition ok, and breakfast was fine. The town is very nice. "

"Pros: Great beach; restaurant in the hotel; near the beach; great ocean view; free parking; free towels for guests to use at the beach (ask at the reception). Cons: Lots of stairs to get e to the beach; and only one restaurant option to dine in (the hotel one). But you can drive only 5 minutes to get to another town with lots of good restaurants and shopping options. "Great breakfast, welcoming staff, great view of the beach"

"Positives: the pools are great for kids and the restaurant has good quality food. Negatives: the beds are VERY hard so we didn't get a single nights good sleep during our stay. Also there was an incredibly loud party behind the hotel two nights in a row so our kids had to move to our room (we're talking nightclub-level loudness...) "Not sure why this place has a 4 star rating, a 3-star rating is being nice. While it’s close to the beach and the house keeping staff were amazing, that’s about all the nice things I can say. The check in staff was rude and basically threw us our key and didn’t explain anything. We got yelled at for parking near our room after being told to park there to unload our bags ourselves. While there is a private beach for the hotel, they don’t tell you beforehand hand that you have to pay to use it....

"Beautiful location & friendly staff. Lots of ants that crawled up our legs during breakfast & laying by the pool. Also had them in our rooms. My daughter was bitten badly but not sure if it was the ants or if it was mosquitoes which isn’t really the hotel’s fault or issue. "
