"Great Hotel (on the German side) with excellent location and tram stop 50m away. Hotel management needs to put more effort in signs and directions as it's one of the toughest hotel to locate inside the building. It's so dark and you can hardly read signs (nothing in English). Once located it's a great clean property with big rooms. I have given 4 stars purely due to poor signs. Also you need to carry your passport around as I got stopped by German police inside the tram travelling from Swiss...

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. We noticed staff members cleaning frequently. Parking was convenient and secure with a lift directly to the room floor. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious with adequate storage space. There was a mini-frig in the room but it did not work but it was not a big problem for us. "Only stayed for one night due to late flight. Staff were very friendly.We were picked up from the airport with in minute of calling which was great. Apartment looked good and well equipped. Coffee table was damaged this didn't matter to us but it cheapened the look of a very nice apartment I think it would have been better had it be removed. Apartment was clean and beds were comfy. It was extremely hot when we stayed. We struggled with no Aircon and only one fan so slept with balcony doors...

"Nice quaint old converted mansion into a period hotel in a quiet neighborhood of a small Alsacian town. Everything was done well with personal service and attention. An elevator is the only thing that would make it easier for older people and heavy luggage. Highly recommend for a unique experience back in time. "
