"We had booked this room because of a terrible experience we had with the Stone Gate in orillia. The front desk people were so friendly Carrie and Josh. from the moment you walked in the doors you felt welcome. We booked in on the 7th Feb 2025, which was a huge snow storm. "This was our 2nd time staying at this Hotel. We asked for a ground floor since we are seniors, and they happily provided that for us, complete with exterior car access. The room was clean, but the hotel is showing it's age. It was great for our one night stay. The only suggestion we would provide is that since the floors are solid, there needs to be a mat at the sliding door. We brought a lot of water in from our shoes unloading the car.
