The rooms do not have air conditioning and we need it cool to sleep well but the open windows and fan were enough to be comfortable. "

"This was our 3rd visit to Torfhaus Resort Hotel. It is our favorite. The location in the Harz Mountains is serene, but also full of possibilities for hiking, biking, and quick travel to picturesque towns. The houses/cabins at the resort are maintained in excellent condition. There is plenty of room for a family. We enjoy sitting on the deck with a meal and looking at the beautiful views of the forest. "Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit einer sehr guten Küche. Etwas bedenklich war es, als es zu einem Feueralarm kam, das nicht kontrolliert wurde, ob und welche Gäste das Gebäude verlassen haben. Es handelte sich glücklicherweise um einen Fehlalarm. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker und die Auswahl am Buffet ließ keine Wünsche übrig.
