"The hotel overall is clean and well managed with friendly staff and in a central area close to shopping centre. It is an old hotel but but well kept. The only thing that was an issue was the tiny bathroom. If you were overweight you would find it hard to get into the shower as the door is tiny."

"Ibis styles is a newer property located in the heart of Hobart. It was conveniently close to Salamanca Wharf and all the local shops. The rooms were clean and quiet with basic facilities. Absolutely pleasure to stay at. Would return for another stay in the future."

"We stayed a week in the Motor Inn. The room was clean and lovely and the beds were very comfortable. However having to step into and out of the bath to take a shower could be very dangerous. Also our milk and coffee were not topped up on several occasions forcing us to buy our own. "

The only shortcoming was that the restaurant kitchen closed fairly early and we could not get a reservation when we rang from the sirport at 7.45pm, with an ETA of 8.30pm, even though dining was advertised as being open 'until late'. "
