"The hotel reception staff is kind and helpful. The room needs a facelift. Beds and bathroom especially. Upon entering it smelled old, but after airing out the room it got better. The toilet smelled like urine although it appeared clean. The pool and playground for kids were great. We spent a lot of time there. The location is phenomenal and quiet. "Impressed with the hotel’s professional staff who were consistently helpful. Two staff members - Ella at the front desk and Artigas in the restaurant provided exceptional service. Each went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. They both speak excellent English which helped since my German is limited. The breakfast buffet is excellent and I also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The hotel is a bit dated but comfortable with good views of the Baltic. "

"I enjoyed this stay more than I was expecting to. I was on a solo road trip, and thought I'd stop by the beach, since it was so close. I wish I had stayed longer! The hotel was way better than I expected from the pictures (I got the updated room with the wood floors and an unexpected partial sea view). The shower-only bathroom is small if you're not used to European-sized bathrooms, but it was very clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. "The hotel was fine (although having absolutely no wifi was a bit of a surprise and not ideal for the type of travelling we were doing). Because we were there in mid-April, it isn't the best time to be at a location that is catering to summer beach goers, so my rating of the location suffers a bit. This is just a matter of timing though. We had driven up from Berlin to go to Peenemunde, and this was a fine hotel to spend the night after before moving on."

"Very safe place for solo travelers. Breakfast was wonderful. Steam room and Sauna was clean and one of the amenity of this hotel. Hotel is right by beach. Only one thing linen was not changed daily."
