"This is a wonderful hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Our room is in need of redecorating after what looks like an old damp issue from a water leak outside the bathroom but didn’t cause us any issues. The hotel is in a very good location and we would recommend it to anyone. "

"I have stayed in many places and I can safely say this was one of my top three! Cozy clean super comfortable the surrounding ( the village) quaint and gorgeous friendly bar downstairs gave first drink on the house for guests the breakfast was delicious and homemade wonderful service bed unbelievably comfortable I could move in ! Honestly I wish I could give it 100 stars and more ! We will go back for sure … Christmas lights( sweet and tasteful) were a bonus as were the homemade eco friendly...

"Stunning hotel and facilities with wonderful staff! Really enjoyed that you really don’t need to leave the hotel if you don’t want to, the den and snug great additions. Sauna/pool/hot tub and spa also lovely and enjoy that you can book these privately (although appreciate some people may want more than 30 mins a day). "This hotel is under new management and no longer uses OYO as a booking agent. When we arrived OYO had not sent through our booking - this was not hotels.com's fault. The new management team kindly allowed us to stay at no extra cost. I have contacted hotels.com regarding this and hope they will make sure that this hotel is given as much help as possible. The team are working hard to make this a great place to stay."
