After I sent them the email of confirmation we were uickly transferred to The Vine, fortunately there was room available there. Our room was beautiful and the staff very helpful. The new management team kindly allowed us to stay at no extra cost. I have contacted hotels.com regarding this and hope they will make sure that this hotel is given as much help as possible.
