"From the time that we walked in until we left, our Hosts and their staff treated us extremely well. Our room was amazing and the cooked to order breakfast was well done. Fresh fruit, yogurt, granola many different varieties of tea and at least 6 different kinds of jam were offered. I can see why Amery House has so many great reviews. We definitely recommend staying here."

"Manor 38 is located in Summerstrand Port Elizabeth. The Manor is beautiful, nicely decorated with spacious bedrooms and bathroom, private television, WiFi, etc. It also has two large sitting rooms, one with a large television and fireplace for all guests to use, plus a gorgeous swimming pool. The daily breakfast is preordered, with selections from fruit plate, cereal, toasts, eggs cooked many different ways, including omelettes. "We stay here regularly however we were put in a room where there was a light outside that kept the room like daylight at night. Disappointing stay and even after my husband complained at 2am, management did not offer us any compensation / option. In saying that, we will always stay here but not in that room."

"This was my first time staying here and I was impressed, however, there was only a fan and no aircon in the room during stifling humidity. The shower is over the bath and actually a very high step up over into it. I would not recommend for someone older or who struggles with mobility."
