"We really enjoyed our stay at Castle Court. The front desk staff were very courteous and helpful with guiding us to local shopping and attractions. Our room was clean and spacious. Our room safe would not lock but we were provided with safe keeping of our valuables in the property main safe. Overall we really loved this property and would recommend it. "

"You check in at the restaurant in front with access to the rooms in the back of the restaurant. Friendly staff, clean room, great location right on a street with shops and restaurants. There are some stairs and no lift so may be less suited for older travelers. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend"

"Staff amazing. lovely idea for prosecco reception and history talk. Spacious room with gas fire(doesn't work though). Sadly No pen in bedroom etc to fill in comment card. Large bathroom with double sinks/roll top bath and Shower. "

"Staff Reception and Management were all fantastic! Our stay was at a time just after the major storm but nothing was too much. I had flown in from Portugal but the stories I heard from local people who the hotel had looked after during this awful time was amazing. Well done The Ellison. "We had a wonderful stay. We had a kettle for tea or coffee in our room with milk provided and delicious little cookies as well. Hillary, the owner brought us a water in a pitcher and glasses if we were thirsty. Breakfast was delicious with options ranging from a full breakfast to a continental breakfast. We very much enjoyed our stay."
