"10/10 - FAULTLESS I celebrated my 29th birthday here over a weekend with 22 friends and the hotel accommodated to every single need I requested. They went above and beyond for me, the treatment and customer service I received was like no other. "This was my third stay at the Verdi, St. Georges Bay. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are always smiling. Always willing to help. Breakfast was plentiful with choices for all.. I would have liked more fresh fruit but sitting on the terrace looking out to sea is a perfect way to start the day. My room was large with a wonderful sea view balcony. It was cleaned each day, often whilst l was at breakfast, to a very high standard. There is building work going on across the road from the front entrance but this did not impact on my stay as the rooms are at the back of the building overlooking the bay and out to sea. Numerous very good restaurants are within a 5 minute walk and there is a bus stop outside the hotel if you wish to go further afield. St Georges bay has a sandy beach, rare in Malta and there is a dive centre for the more adventurous. There is a casino and several clubs within easy walking distance. Far enough away to not disturb the hotel's residents but there if you want them. Some people have mentioned that the rooms look "tired". I would agree with this but to me cleanliness is far more important than the latest colour on the walls! A comfy bed and good blackout curtains more important than shiny new furniture."

"Upon arrival we were upgraded to a sea view room without asking. The room was very spacious with a huge sun terrace, a main room with queen size bed and lounge and a second bedroom with a king size bed and second bathroom. The showers were outstanding powerful and easily adjusted (still miss my shower now) We had bed and breakfast at breakfast there was plenty to choose all being freshly cooked in front of you, with a large selection of fruit and pastries also. Not many good places in the local are to eat to be honest but getting a taxi was literally instantaneous and was very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again"
