"Loved that the property was located by the spa…making it an easy walk. It was also a short walk down the hill to the Christmas market. I booked through Expedia and thought everything was covered payment wise. I was told by the Tribe Hotel clerk when checking out that I needed to pay 50 euros for taxes. I am not sure why? That part was unexpected and unfortunate."

I had a single room and was pleasantly surprised (not having stayed in a single room before) the room had a fridge that came in handy, and a view of the valley from the balcony. The balcony had a seat so could chill out on. The restaurant was fully booked but as was a resident they found me a table, the food was lovely. "Lovely traditional German hotel with delicious food in a beautiful setting on the edge of the woods where you can spend hours walking and hiking. Our room may be been considered a mini suite, as it contained a very spacious sitting area as well as a balcony.
