"Nice quant hotel within an easy walk to walled medieval city that offers many dining options as does the area outside of the walled city. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. It's clean and well maintained with a nice indoor and outside eating area. Rooms were on the smaller side which is typical for older properties in Europe. Definitely would stay here again."

"The Hotel Le Donjon is one of the most unique places I've ever stayed. It was a great experience. From our room we could see the Chateau Comtal, the castle of Carcassonne. The hotel is right in the middle of La Cite Medievale, near the Aude Gate. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. "This hotel is a gem centrally and conveniently situated a short stroll away from the heart of Toulouse and the beautiful Victor Hugo Market with all the best restaurants. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The room was very good. And the parking provided was very helpful. We had the most amazing reception from two extremely helpful and friendly receptionists. Can not praise them enough."

"Nice hotel, welcoming and comfortable. Restaurant food lacked in choice for vegetarians and vegans, not really any healthy choice. But the staff were lovely and the service was great. Room was comfortable and practical, though the colour choice was a bit odd & the shower was small even for me, a small woman. But that could be that I had the odd room at the end of the corridor that the designer squeezed in."

"This hotel was phenomenal. I am well traveled, and found this to be exceptional. I was upgraded to one of the suites, where I had one of the largest balconies one could ever expect from a hotel overlooking the southwest of France. I also had another balcony in the sitting room. The staff was really friendly and helpful. One tip – you cannot really drive to this hotel. It’s hard to find, and you have to park a bit away in the parking lot and track up the hill into the walled city. ."

"The only thing missing from this hotel was a refrigerator. There is so much to do around and near the hotel, and it is very convenient to the walkable parts of the city. Good location with metro and gar near enough, and the hotel was nice and clean and well organized. Desk staff can easily speak English but allowed me to check in and out in French so i could practice and were patient and clear which i appreciate. I would stay there again. "
