More information needs to be provided during the check-in process about the hotel policies on hot water, cleaning and facilities timings to avoid misunderstandings. "Great Stay, do think they need to Europeanise some of their breakfast items, Love curry but Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner gets a bit too spicy for me. Friendly staff, great Massage organised by hotel. Pool area could do with bit of TLC and more sun loungers. The room was superb and comfortable big bed. They have the potential to really ramp this up, so not being critical just constructive."

"We were very disappointed that none of the facilities listed were available and hadn’t been for a long time judging by the green water. The room was clean. The bed comfortable but thin curtains meant bright sunlight. Wi-Fi worked in corridors and reception. There are two bars downstairs for locals up stairs for tourists- yes a 100 rupees more per bottle of beer. Breakfast very good. All in all overpriced for the facilities available "

"I spent my last night in India at the Malabar House in Fort Kochi and it was quite the treat. I was upgraded to the Garden suite and the room was stunning from the fixtures to the artwork. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was fantastic! The hotel is ideally located just a block or two inland from the harbor and the fishing nets. Gorgeous property. "
