"Helpful friendly staff"

"Great location and staff very helpful and friendly. There was a wedding happening whislt we stayed there and apart from seeing the bride and groom doing their photos we didnt even know a wedding was happening. Nice countryside walk into Thame as well. If i had to find issues then the room could have done with some complimentary water and dressing gowns though which was a bit of a surprise considering we were in a suite and the cost of it. Car park is a bit of a walk if its raining. However...

"Lovely hotel for spa, gym, games room and games area. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff really helpful. Clean. The classic doubles are small and not really big enough for 2 adults to move comfortably around. Shouldn't have to upgrade for this. The bed was bouncy and tended to slant based on heavier person. Also standard double so again cosy for a 4 star hotel. Investment needed in beds. Double room could have been better. Twin Room was fabulous. Much bigger to accommodate 2 people. Twin sinks. "

"Fantastic stay from start to finish, free parking on site which was great for us. Staff were friendly and helpful, only stayed for 2 nights but were given fresh towels on our second day which was amazing. Lovely walk along the river into the centre (note it does take 35-40 minutes). "

"I found the hotel to be very short staffed and a bit unorganised. I rang the hotel several times and no one answered my calls. Also no one returned my calls. The room was nice and clean and the food was what you would expect. Although they ran out of ham for the ham sandwich so had to have cheese! To be honest the staff tried there best but just under staffed "

"Travelling solo, arrived late and left early. Gym is well equiped, surrounding look great and friendly staff. Didn't use the restrauarant or have any breakfast. Room was reasonable but very warm with no way to cool down other than open a window although a fan was provided. Internet worked well. On the whole a good stay would use again."

"Lovely welcoming staff, with honeycomb from their own bees. Lovely building, quiet and relaxing. Nice spa with treatments. Good buffet breakfast with lots of options overlooking the thames. An hours walk along the thames into oxford. Or a short bus ride from right outside the hotel. Would recommend. "
