The food in the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast buffet was well organised, with staff checking and replenishing the tasty items on offer. This hotel is in an ideal location, short walk to the shops, restaurants, cathedral and station. "

"We had a smaller room on the main floor, which was fine as we were gone most of the day visiting Etoge and Champagne houses. Easy to access the area from the Chateau. The staff was great, professional and very accomodating. We had bought a baguette/cheese/meat for a relaxing evening meal and they provided a nice tray for us with plates, utensils, nuts and drinks that we ordered. The restaurant was very good the first evening we stayed. What a beautiful setting, uiet, peaceful and beautifully...

"This place is a perfect base to explore Reims . We parked in the car park upstairs , outside for free ( there is underground parking on site too ) The room was nice , overlooking the river .. from the hotel it’s walkable to the Cathedral quarter ( 10/12mins stroll ) and there’s a wealth of restaurant choices and bars there . This seemed a very walkable and safe city and the Mercure is a nice easy , cost effective hotel to use as a base for a visit . "

"Air conditioning was not working. Hotel hastily explained that due to conservation of power sometimes the motor would just not turn on. Then the hotel shd be priced as if it did not have A/C"
