"This hotel is a great find. The staff are all lovely, the breakfast is nice and the rooms are very good. We had 3 rooms and not a problem with any of them. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest Metro station which runs from the main train station to the football stadium, you can buy tickets outside any stop or at a post office. The other big attraction is Pizzeria Salernitana, the local restaurant around the corner. You don’t need to eat anywhere else, it is a proper Italian restaurant...

There was a couple of long flights of steps that take you between apartment blocks and ended up by the hotel. I think a mapping app suggested it’s about 60m down from the town.
