"It was a great stay here. The service was wonderful, and the quality of the room was top. HOWEVER, the pillows and the shower are terrible. The pillows, there should be hard and soft pillows, they were very uncomfortable to sleep on. "While the location and property itself is fine, it is in a high standard with artsy feel there is one major shortcoming. Apparently hotel has this weird “policy” whereby they assume guests do not want room cleaned (for staying more than one night) unless they inform the staff they wanted room cleaned or put a “sign” on the door saying you want room cleaned. The front desk agent was not sympathetic and did not understand how ridiculous the policy is. I’m surprised other guests did not mention...

"This hotel is a hidden gem! I don't think you can get better conditions (swimming pool, saunas, steam room, lovely breakfast) and frendlier staff for the price. It's true that the furniture and decor are a little old-fashioned, but everything is sparkling clean, beds are comfortable, and rooms have huge balconies as well. I plan to come again, and again :) totally recommend! "

"Charming hotel, and has a nice view from the top hill looking down. No issues staying and my room came w/ a balcony which was a big perk. Staff members are friendly and the morning breakfast was quite good. It was a hot day in Steyr reaching near 27-29c, and the room stayed warm till evening.
