"This hotel was right on the corner and easy to get to as well as parking was underground and convenient. We had two kids and the hotel set up two twin beds with a container of candy and a game for each kid. That was a very lovely touch. Rooms were not super spacious but it was clean and functional. Location was safe and good walking distance to the main touristy areas. There is also a Lidl and Mcdonalds a couple minutes walk away."

"We especially liked the musical theme the hotel had and it was all around very fashion-y and cozy. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. Brilliant with my Assistenzhund and marvellously comfy pilllows."

"The location was outside of Dresden city centre but we actually preferred this as it was green and quiet. There is a bus stop right outside and buses came every 15 mins going further towards the centre or the SBahn (trains). Rooms were big. It would be nice if the double room had a tea facility like the 4 bed. It was great that you could actually open the window to let a fresh breeze in. There was also the option of aircon. Lots to eat at the breakfast buffet. We did not try the spa, all in all...

"We were booked in with Best Western but actually had to check in and eat in the Courtyard Marriot. We struggled to get into the parking area as a service lorry and skip were obstructing the entrance. Very confusing as to where we should check in. Our main rooms were in the Best Western Building but everything else was in the Courtyard Marriot building. We were told the only food was the buffet but there was very little left and certainly was not worth 27 EUR each. We then discovered the bar was...

"The Penck is a really great hotel, the only pity was I only here one night! The room was huge & very comfortable, & the hotel was very well appointed, clean & well-presented. All the staff were friendly & helpful with excellent service. The breakfast was very good too, a great variety of excellent food. If you're happy walking it's only ten minutes from the old town, so was ideal for sightseeing. I would definitely come back again!"

"Conveniently located near the south-Dresden train station (not main one). Doesn't look like much from the outside, but beautiful inside with very comfortable rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Streetcars nearby for reaching the historic inner city of Dresden - takes less than ten minutes to get there. Great value."
