"The hotel did not recognize the reservation through Hotels.com. We were told this hotel does not do business with you. We spend quite a bit of time to clarify the matter. Finally, the manager looked in his computer system and found my name under a reservation made by Expedia. This was obviously a flaw in their system or ignorance of the front desk staff. "

"Getting to the property was tough, very tough but so worth it. I was lucky enough to go outside of the wet season but it was still hard. The facility itself is beautiful and the food is delicious. The staff is beyond kind and helpful. The shower though, it hardly worked and water went everywhere. "The staff bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. The food was excellent and when the hotel restaurant wasn't open, a hotel-owned restaurant next door had excellent food. The difficult thing about getting a 4 star rating in Nakuru, Kenya, is that the area is subject to frequent power outages and the internet service simply isn't the best. I wish this property didn't have to deal with these inconveniences because everything else was superb. "
