I did not mind the walk at all, just please watch the road as there wasn't much sidewalk to go on. Very scenic once you veer off and take the actual footpath to the main district! Everyone at the hotel was so kind and welcoming and went out of their way. They even helped me to book a massage during slow season and even that person was amazing. "The Sandaya was a lovely quiet place to stay. It has a very “zen” feel. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and polite. Their complimentary breakfast provided a great start to our days. We used their airport transportation and it all went smoothly. The location is steps to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the major eating area for dinner where we walked each night. We paid more for this adult resort and glad we did."

Parking the rent a car was difficult and not recommended to drive in to town. However, the town is very walkable."
