"This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed at the Lamm, the 2 previous times it was as a couple this time I was a solo traveller. I had a single room and was pleasantly surprised (not having stayed in a single room before) the room had a fridge that came in handy, and a view of the valley from the balcony. The balcony had a seat so could chill out on. The restaurant was fully booked but as was a resident they found me a table, the food was lovely. Clean rooms with most things you would need (no coffee/tea facilities which was the only negative!). We will definitely be back!"

"Modern hotel, soulless if efficient "

"If you need to leave early, you might have problems. Nobody at reception before 8am. House is locked up. You need to pay your check the night before otherwise they get very unhappy. The restaurant was good. Waiters friendly. Surroundings and landscape great. Owner should accommodate early leaving guests needs. Serve earlier breakfast and allow Dropbox for keys and someone at reception in the early morning to allow easy bill pay. Thank you."

"Friendly and helpful staff at a nice hotel in a quiet corner of the Black Forest. Dining was very good, and while the breakfast was not elaborate it was tasty and staff kept the buffet stocked even during a morning rush. All in all a good value."
