"We were lucky that not many people were staying at the hotel, making it peaceful and quiet. We also had the chance to enjoy their barrel sauna. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The only downside was that the spa and outdoor jacuzzi were closed, and while the pub was open, it was undergoing a small renovation and felt cold. Other than that, the food was delicious. "Our suite was ready when we arrived which we appreciated after a 90 minute drive. The front desk staff was very friendly and quick to check us in. We had 2 young children with us and we were surprised and happy to know the pool was open until 11pm! While we didn’t use the balcony in our suite we loved the fireplace and the fact that the bedroom was separate from the rest of the living area as well as a decent size sofa bed for the kids. "This hotel has a great location and would have great facilities if the pool and the hot tub were not so dirty. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The restaurant was not open because the hotel was not very busy. Not a big deal because it is only 5 min drive to the nearest town."
