"We arrived at 16:15 after a 7 hour journey to find the entrance door locked and no lights seen inside and no sign of anyone about. We waited about 15 minutes then decided we needed to go elsewhere to stay and rest. The hotel sent me a text message in the evening asking me to contact them for information on Registration !!!! A notice on the door said that the hotel restaurant was closed for a period that included our night stop. It would have been nice to have known this at the time of...

"The rooms are old and in need of an update. We only had nets at the window, no curtains to stop the morning light. One of the bedside lights was not working. The website advertised at evening restaurant, this is now no longer open."

"Pleasant hotel and very good position for getting on/off motorway en route south. Comfortable room and comfy beds! No aircon and room very hot ...it was 33° outside. Had to open window which meant lots of flying things came in! Nice to get a kettle in the room.....a definite plus when in France. Most hotels do not offer this. Only gripe is paper cups...our drinks , both hot and cold began to seep through the bottom of them! Please use proper mugs! Good breakfast although basic!"

When we arrived there was no one to check us in. The machine didn’t recognise our reservation… we were in a bit of a panic and nearly had to call Expedia… however thankfully a lady arrived and gave us our key card! The pillows were so cheap as were the amenities in the room. But like I say… I wasn’t expecting anything else and I hadn’t paid for...
