"From arrival all staff were super friendly and helpful. We mentioned at the bar in the afternoon that it was my husband's birthday and much later that evening he was presented with a happy birthday plate with chocolates on it. The food was beautiful, lovely wine and a chilled out ambience in the lounge. Our room was comfortable and quiet."

"Initially booked into room 7 ( annex) . Hadn't fully appreciated the access issues / stairs / downstairs toilet/ wardrobe. Staff were brilliant and moved to room 15 inside hotel immediately. Friendly staff , great food and only 1.5 miles from Whitby . ( Although Park and Ride does not start until Spring) . Would certainly book again ."
