"A great getaway for couples or families. Lovely grounds for walking outside, fabulous apartments, wonderfully decorated,clean,comfortable. Great that it is self catering, so breakfast lunch and dinner were on our own schedule. Host was very helpful and welcoming. " luxury period house nice and comfortable. It is quite small and cosy But very very quite so guests tended to talk very low and the atmosphere was a bit stiff , nice to go if your looking for a bit of peace and quiet. The breakfast: I had pancakes off the hot food menu, they were inedible , soggy and burnt . continental buffet small but what was on offer was fresh. breads were not nice, cheap sliced pan toast, and plain soda bread , no other healthy options . No tea or coffee making facilities...
