"Staff are great and rooms are clean. it’s on the outskirts of Coron, so not in the town centre, but a short tricycle ride in. There is a rooster in an adjacent property that likes to do what roosters do in the morning. I would recommend this property."

"A very classy hotel in Coron, clearly a different standard to many many others in the town. Staff and facilities were excellent, the fan in the room just the right speed and flow to keep you fresh for sleeping without getting blasted by cold air or cold air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent, the gym was great, the pool relaxing and the happy hour cocktails great. A little out of the main part of town but a very cheap tuk tuk ride away, and for our 3 day sailing trip it was perfectly located...

"We stayed three nights are El Rio Y Mar Resort and wish we could have stayed a week. This resort is hands down the best resort we have stayed at in the Philippines. It's very secluded from the hustle and bustle of Coron yet close enough that you can still do the island hopping tours and excursions. The staff were exceptional from the time you arrive to the time you depart. The food at the ONLY restaurant was absolutely delicious. We were a bit nervous about there only being one restaurant...
