The hot tub was a selling point for us but unfortunately it wasn’t the cleanest and couldn’t use it for long. (2 evenings max). Also, the bed was a little too short for my 6ft4 husband."

"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O....

"Cam was amazing and made me feel very welcome. The room is for 1 or a couple and had everything you need. The is no restaurant but the Nags head was a 5 min walk away. Breakfast was very relaxing and delicious. Bow the new poodle was adorable and very entertaining. "

"Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Ashgrove Farm. Julie was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and Snoopy was a sweetheart. Julie's son was very friendly and took time out of his busy day to have a chat. The accommodation was very cosy and had everything needed to be a home away from home. We walked our dog to the castle, just down the road, and had a good look around, it was a pity that it was locked on our last morning. There is also a small enclosed community green...
