"The food at the restaurant was terrible. I ordered a bottle of wine and they sent another that was 3 times the price without telling me. They threw us out because they said they had to set up for breakfast while they had other tables still sitting. We were still drinking our wine. The only person that was nice at this place was the person at reception. "

Een zwembad (waar niet meer geadverteerd wordt) ligt er compleet vervallen bij met een goor zeil erin. Bedden waren slecht en verzakt, badkamer plakte de knoppen de douche was verder goed. Dit 4 sterren hotel heeft zijn beste tijd gehad. "

"The location was great - just a 10 min bike ride into town. The staff were top notch - they were all so amazing to deal with and really took care of you. The only disappointment was the room for how much I paid for it. I was expecting it to feel a bit more high end. It was a comfortable bed. The bathroom was tiny (if you are using the toilet your legs are pretty much touching the shower). Very basic otherwise. The lobby and breakfast and pool areas were nice and lots of bikes to rent. "The location and views of the Villa Volpi are breath-taking. If you are looking for a quiet place to recharge this is the one. The pool was well maintained and the kids loved it. The room was very spacious and clean, but some upkeep is needed. The shower is wood panelled and the wood was all mouldy in the corners. Most light bulbs in the property were not working and would need changing. This was particularly annoying in the bathroom, where only 1 of 4 lights was operational. The big downfall...

"Property itself was ultra clean and the staff were amazing. The building is a little dated but perfectly functional. Unfortunately, the drawback of the area is that the beaches are mostly fully reserved for the entire season by Italians from the city and so it is almost impossible to get a place in any of the beaches even or of peak season"
