"There are awards from 20 years ago hanging around, I guess this is when the hotel got its four stars. Since then the building got pretty shabby, especially the bathrooms. The breakfast is the only thing that matches the stars claim, I’d say. We received no “parking instructions” message like other Italian hotels send couple of days in advance, and it’s badly needed! "This is a truly unique property in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We stayed in a junior suite and enjoyed the tranquility. We did have a/c in our room, along with a mini fridge and kettle. The service, food and beer were amazing. My only complaint was that the pool was not yet open for use during our stay.
