I had no voucher (is this the 1990s???) and would not accept that a booking in my name would in fact be my reservation!! All the staff were Mauritian and the difference is so noticeable that when you go to other non-Beachcomber hotels where much of the staff is seasonably imported and the standards are so poor. The location in Gran Baie was excellent for all the northern trips. The beach was nice. The A La Carte was exceptional.
