"A little disorganised at check in. Reception staff insisted I present them with a voucher before they would give us access to the room. I had no voucher (is this the 1990s???) and would not accept that a booking in my name would in fact be my reservation!! "It’s a 4* hotel with a 5* service that was as good as I have experienced in a long time. All the staff were Mauritian and the difference is so noticeable that when you go to other non-Beachcomber hotels where much of the staff is seasonably imported and the standards are so poor. The location in Gran Baie was excellent for all the northern trips. The beach was nice. The A La Carte was exceptional. But the best benefit was you could use all the facilities and restaurants of the local sister...

"The Hotel had been renovated a couple of weeks ago, so everything is OK in the room and all the staff is abdolutely adorable and available. A 6th star should be awarded to the whokr team. Thanks to Sakoa Constance Hôtel for our Stay. The hôtel also have a private beach and couple of free activities like Paddle, water ski."
