"The desk clerks at the hotel were excellent particularly Alex who did whatever she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We also enjoyed the food and the service in the dining room. We were very disappointed to find that there was no fridge in the room--the only hotel of the 11 on our trip. We could store things in their fridge but that is not the same. "We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Pietracap. The breakfast had a good range of options and the dinners were delicious. The hotel was in an easy location for a quick drive into Bastia. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the ocean view from the room was stunning. We also loved the water fountain in the lobby for our water bottles. It was so convenient. The only things we didn't enjoy were the overly firm mattress and STRONG room perfume."

"We thorougly enjoyed our stay, the staff were friendly and the facilities were super. We were very early in the season so many preparations and improvements were taking place, so we feel it would have been even better a little later into the month. We particularly enjoyed our meals in the restaurant. The beautiful beach was very quiet and the walk along the railway path, and on into the town and harbour was a joy. "

"We had a 2 bedroom apartment. The unit was spacious and clean. The kitchen has a dishwasher but is a little short on utensils. Maybe most guest bring this sort of thing but as we are from Canada we had to rely on what was there. The furniture was Roche Bobois but it wasn't as comfortable as I expected. There are also strict rules about cleaning up before you check out with fines attached. We didn't expect this and there were no cleaning supplies although the hotel notice indicates there are....

"Modern and functional flats with view over the beautiful beach which is only 1 min walk away. Nice swimming pool with views over the sea. Very friendly and service minded staff! We loved the bread and pastry delivery in the mornings. Parking with charging point for electric vehicle. Only negative was that there was no cleaning or change of towels/sheets during a 7 nights stay. There was no vacuum cleaner or washing machine in the flat and with all the sand from the beach it got quite dirty in...
