"The property was understaffed in all areas. Once we'd finished our meal there wasn't an area for us to continue drinking! We were told we could go outside. There had just been a heavy thunderstorm! Other areas where we'd sat during previous visits were closed! Same scenario later that night. This hotel used to be comfortable and accommodating. Shame, because we've been coming here for years and each time we come, it gets. worse. "

"The best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Pizza bar on the roof terrace was great. We had some trouble trying to order room service which was dealt with exceptionally by the staff. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a modern clean hotel in a beautiful location."

"Really loved staying here, great little aparthotel and the location was very convenient. "

"Hotel was lovely, the privilege room was very nice, would definitely stay again. However access from the car park was a pain. I also paid for parking and they sold the space to someone else so I had to pay in a public car park elsewhere. They also didn't check me in when I arrived. I came back that night and they had no record of me even though my stuff was in the room and I had a key. They were friendly and helpful sorting it, but having issues in the first place was a pain."

"Hotel room was very clean and comfortable perfect for our overnight stay. Breakfast had a good choice and well cooked and prepared. Only thing i was disappointed with was parking £15 even though im a blue badge holder. "

"I really liked the blending of the features of an historic building with modern amenities. There were explanations of the history of the building without it being in your face and looking like a museum. The buildings provided lots of pleasant areas to relax in. The staff were excellent and friendly."
