"This was our second stay at the Hotel da Oliveira. All being well, we shall be returning again. It is a most elegant space in the historical quarter, with themed guest rooms (ours was named after the inscription of the city on the UNESCO World Heritage List). LOCATION: Situated at the very heart of the Centro Historico, the hotel is a short taxi ride from the train station and the bus station (even walkable with light luggage). "Its really a country club with rooms so it has a big pool where you can do laps. It also has a professional gym. The toilet seat was small. The hotel interior is functional. Breakfast was ok. No vegetables. Its 10 minutes by car to town."

"I stayed in this fabulous chocolate hotel in early October when I was walking on the Camino way. After a 10 mile day of walking, it was wonderful to get there and berated with a wine spritzer with chocolate shavings, delicious chocolate bar, and a beautiful hotel. The breakfast was included and was absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend this place. "
