"Stayed at the hotel on my last night in Stavanger as I was leaving on an early morning flight. It was about a 10 minute walk from/to the airport terminal, fine in dry weather but wouldn't have been great in adverse conditions. The room was of a high standard although the view included a cemetery. Dinner was of a good quality but although I ate relatively early the kitchen seemed to close part way through my meal and I had to go and stand at the till in order to pay the bill. "Eilert Smith Hotel exceeded our expectations!!! This is a Luxury Boutique Hotel. They treat you like royalty right when you walk in the door. I would definitely stay there again in Stavanger. It was the best of all places we stayed in Norway. It didn’t have the most amenities or even the best views but it made up for it in service and quality of the room and everything in the room. "Everything was great! My only complaint was checkout was for 11am and I actually had housekeeping enter my room at 9am on their own without me opening the door, which I felt odd bc what if we were indecent? Other than that the actual place was great. "
