"Service at check in was excellent. An older staff member served us on reception and she was a delight! Rooms were conveniently located and very clean. Hotel is due for a full renovation and not all rooms yet renovated. Breakfast offering was in need of an update in keeping with the ihg brand, currently very basic. Overall a good stay."

"So after a ramshackle start to my stay were my booking did not exist to waiting well over an hour to get booked in even though I had confirmation on my phone To no tv channels a sometimes internet My first impression was not good But luckily Bill came on the next day and what an absolute champion of a manager he is There was no mucking around with Bill he straight away organised a room transfer and a fantastic room it was The oaks are lucky to have this guy working for them I would have well and...

"The place was lovely, we had a view of the sea from our bungalow and it's a great location for exploring the area. Staff were all friendly and helpful and the food was great in the bar. My only complaint was the movement sensor lights at night. They were so bright every time someone walked past it lit up the room. Some low level lighting would have been better. The outdoor furniture could use some new cushions too. And although it mentions a kitchenette, it's really just a fridge and tea/coffee....
