"It's amazing how only two people (husband and wife - they run this place) can make you feel welcome and like you come to the house of loving friends or relatives! They greet us with the smile, showed to our rooms and offered us dinner even it was 10 pm. When was last time you had such a service!?? Can't not to mention the dinner that was cooked by husband - simply amazing! This place shows you all the best you want in hospitality. Highly recommended, we’ll be back! "

"This property was charming and the staff were all so friendly and attentive! Room was spacious and I do love how the French separate the toilet from the bedroom and shower room! I just wish the tv had more English channels but we did not come there to watch TV anyway! And the hotel was walking distance to small shops and other restaurants. I would definitely stay here again! I arrived in the evening after a long journey to find everything closed but for the help of the caretaker I would have been stranded and seriously at risk. "We really enjoyed our stay at this villa. The room was simple but well appointed. Clean and very comfortable. The villa is located in a hill within the trees above the river. Very quiet and peaceful. The attached restaurant was excellent, but was only serving one of the nights we were there because they were hosting a wedding on the weekend. "This hotel is a short walk from downtown Sarlat. Street parking was near-by and easy to find. Our room was a Standard but was luxuriously enormous with great amenities, and a very comfy bed. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful, even going to far as to ship back an item I'd left in the room. "

"Air conditioner was totally inadequate. Wi-Fi was poor. Toilet and bathroom were separate; latter required two steps. People at reception were unfriendly, refused to speak English and were unable to recommend a quality restaurant in Sarlot. Nice pool, good breakfast. Entrance off main road precarious. Four star rating undeserved."
