"Property is dated, rooms in need of updating of carpeting and washrooms. No gift shop which was disappointing."

"While our over all stay was good. My wife and i are sensiyive to smells. As we walked in to the lobby we were hit with the over powering smell of perfume and then once we got to the front desk the perfume smell was joined with a very pungent smell of body odor. While the rest of the stay we didnt smell the body odor again the purfume smell remained in the lobby and the elevator. My wife would almost immediately get a head ache whenever she encountered it."

"Not a very exciting area of Halifax. Beautiful hotel. No shelves in the shower to hold your own shampoo and hygiene products. "
