"Great property _ true to era. Good detail and well presented. Great blend of old and new. Young vibrant bar staff. Gorgeous vine canopied outside area romantically lit with fairy lights. Big verandahs, seating well placed and not overcrowded. Free breakfast, cooked by the publican and served outside on the verandah for us - what a delightful and unexpected conclusion to a very comfortable stay "

"Definitely a decent place for one or two night stay. Easy check in and check out. There is a servo and pie face outlet next door. I wouldn't call any eateries walkable(especially with kids) like in other reviews. Our room had a king and a single bed. There is kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board, microwave, hair dryer, basic tea & coffee, cups, etc.. Parking in front of your room. A good added touch was the windshield cleaning brushes that was made available "

"The negatives: The floors were dirty, our feet were basically black when walking around. Underneath the beds had rubbish and items leftover from previous guests. The lock on the front screen door wouldn’t work. The microwave didn’t work either. The positives: beds was very comfy. Heaps of blankets, plenty of towels. The fridge and kitchen was very spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful and provided us with some dishwashing liquid and dishwashing tablets as requested. And when we asked...
