"We needed a place to stay along a long drive, and found a room at Spread Eagle. The staff were friendly, beds were comfy and food was easily available at the carvery and restaurant. Breakfast was reasonably priced and nice. Great value."

"This is a LARGE very new hotel with excellent facilities. Staff work hard to ensure you have a good holiday and are helpful if there are problems. Our room did not suit our mobility so they found us a much better location, although room was slightly smaller. Breakfast was excwllent with food for all tastes. "Amazing location and fantastic staff. We booked for a single night as a Christmas treat for 6 of us ranging from 9 to 84. The hotel itself is simply stunning, oozing history everywhere you look. What made the occasion so special however was the quality of service from every member of staff.
