"If you play golf, this is the place to go. Hotel restaurant is closed many nights. Bar is open limited hours. Staff is somewhat indifferent. Hotel is old and noisy. Cleaning staff push their carts across tile floors making a big racket. Door from our room to the pool was locked and the key was nowhere to be found. On the other hand, Argés which is a town just to the north has several dining options. Driving is a must. Stay here only if the price is right or other options in Toledo are sold...

"The welcome at reception was warm and friendly, with the manager going out of his way to make us welcome. The room was lovely, fresh clean and roomy. As we were only staying for one night, more than ample for our needs. Not much to see on a walk before dinner, narrow pavements around the town but safe enough in the area.
