"We had a great overnight stay. We used the pool facilities. Everything was really good. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was so good to see where my dad, sister and brother were evacuated to from Glasgow when it was used as a school. I felt the hotel was a bit tired especially the bathroom but didn’t detract from our stay. The breakfast was perfect and the price we paid for the overnight stay was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend it. "

"Didnt have my booking on the system, appeared to give me the reserve room that they use for last case scenarios. The stairwell ran diagonally above the bed so every time someone walked up the stairs it boomed through just above your head. Hidden charges for using the gym. Main reception in a different building. Free parking was the only decent part. "

"If there's a b & b anywhere where the hosts are more attentlve, i've yet to visit it. A real gem of a place, spotlessly clean, great breakfast and a 5 minute walk to the town centre make this a great place to come. We have been twice now and there is sure to be a third when we revisit Dumfries."
