"A nice, hotel with friendly staff. The main issue is that the hotel needs to be updated. This was the first time in decades that I checked into a hotel and was given an actual key to the room. The hotel is in a small, quiet town, but the people are nice. "

"Honestly, the staff here are some of the most patient, kind, and generous folks you will ever meet. My only gripe is that the WiFi was very poor and caused issues when in virtual meetings. However, the staff were splendid and am happy to have stayed here. "

"Sehr erholsamer Urlaub in ruhiger Umgebung! Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Frühstücksbüffet sehr umfangreich, regional - mit Schwarzwälder Spezialitäten. Personal sehr aufmerksam und absolut professionell. Ein Hotel, welches auch seine 4 Sterne absolut verdient hat!"

"Very nice hotel with a great sauna that wasn’t super busy, restaurant had delicious food with a nice views, private beach on the lake was really enjoyable and even though our room was 300m up a very steep hill (and we had no car) the views were well worth it. Only downside was there was no spa treatments or massages available as the person was on leave. This town is definitely a place where you want to indulge in such activities, especially in peak August season. Would recommend staying here....
