"Staff were excellent. Food was lovely. Arrogant and rude customers who took chairs from the pool to smoke and drink outside on the pavement. Was handled very well by the young fellow (Staff Member)with the dark hair. "

"It was my first time in Geelong and was recommended to stay at the R Hotel by my sister who recently stayed. Facilities were great and staff were amazing and very helpful. Highly recommend staying here - so central to the beach and local shops. Absolutely loved my stay ☺️"

"Was a really nice stay, it's super close to the centre of the city but you can't hear any cars or anything and are surrounded by bush. Also super close to the water. The room was super clean and well kept, freshly renovated I think, but the only problem was the shower has the bath tap directly underneath it so you had to stand super weird, and it wasn't super high, I'm 6ft2 and my head was just hitting it "

"Overall happy with our stay, we were upgraded which was a nice touch to New Year’s Eve. However, upon entering the room it had not been cleaned properly. There was hair from the previous guests scattered across the room floor, we also had to rewash the plates and cutlery. There was no drying rack to place the wet dishes and Chrome cast did not work in the lounge room. Other than this, we were happy with our stay. Staff were amazing, very accommodating and helpful. "
