"Beautifully clean and comfortable, but the eco-claims are not lived up to, with regard to replacing towels and the heavy covers on the beds which require one to put the air conditioning on. These things don't make sense in a country with water and electricity shortages. Very expensive food! The pre-authorization on my sister's bill was mistakenly run through the system so that she was overcharged, and the only way to solve the problem seemed to be to send the extra as a credit to the other...

"The stay in the hotel was very good. The staff was very informative and helpful, even though my French was not up to par with theirs. The room was excellent, and the breakfast was acceptable. The gym was adequate for a hotel. The location and the neighbourhood are sketchy, but there is security. If you use the hotel airport shuttle, remember it will cost you 25 Euros; nothing is free in Madagascar."

"This was the best hotel we stayed at in our month long trip in Madagascar. We were either jet lagged, or about to travel whenever we were in Tana and this hotel was comfortable and easy. It is at the top of the hill with a nice view and a rooftop bar. There are a few bars and restaurants in walking distance as well. Their prices are a bit high, so we walked next door for breakfast and went out for dinner. But wow, to have a nice shower and wifi is incredible."
