"HR residence is at a very convenient location, close to the duomo and easy access to the Luna Russo parking garage (€40/day). It’s also next to the ferry and bus stations, and close to the beach. Our room had partial sea view through the balcony. It was nothing to write home about unless you have never seen the ocean. But the Mountain View and the villas in Ravello are astonishing. It’s also an easy 30 min drive. From Positano. We visited in late October so everything is quieter and enjoyable....

"They gave us a huge terrace with our Deluxe Suite with a breathtaking view, a bottle of champagne and pastries for our 40th wedding anniversary and provided outstanding service with great restaurant recommendations. "My wife liked this property more than I. The hotel was built in 1835 but has only been updated to circa 1960, and in some places, it shows. We were there off season and pool was empty which detracted from the overall look of the property. Big room was sparsely furnished but opened onto unforgettable deck overlooking Amalfi coast from a higher elevation than in town.
