"Second time we have stayed here. The location is excellent. The outside space and grounds are beautiful The staff we met were lovely, very pleasant. The breakfast room is huge and we enjoyed the breakfast too Negatives: it’s extremely dated and in some places it is actually shabby. The bed(s) were singles pulled together, not fastened, so they separated if you turned over during the night. The beds also had very ill fitting toppers on them which also moved. "Great stay for a night enroute to UK from Sweden. A meal in the hotel restaurant/beer garden was a bonus. Convenient access from motorway and easy parking. Ticked all boxes. "

"We think the hotel was OK, needs a bit of an update, faster lift, better beds, a spare pillow should be provided, bigger TV in the room/ too small for the room size. The wifi was very slow and not really suitable to try and use for business purpose in my experience. It is nicely situated and the staff were friendly, an update of the technology would improve it a lot. "

"Wir haben eine schöne Zeit in der Residence Lichtenvoorde verbracht. Die Anlage ist ruhig und hat eigentlich alles was man braucht an Infrastruktur. Es ist nur schade, dass der Park nicht groß genug ist für einen Brötchenservice oder ein Restaurant mit Frühstücksangebot. Allerdings war das Besteck bei Ankunft nicht sauber und man sollte die Silikonfugen im Bad mal erneuern. Das ist ein Aufwand von 1-2 Stunden und alle paar Jahre einfach notwendig. "
