"Beautiful place, with 2 beach accesses. Calm and nice aesthetics. Unfortunately it seems that they recruit only trainees and all people were polite, lacks of professionalism. Seems that a ship without captain. Breakfast also basic. Moreover, the cleaning every 2 days was not expected at this level of hotel that they present online! "

"This hotel has had some bad reviews well to be honest I really don't understand why. The hotel is clean, the views are great, the pool is clean and the breakfast is ok ( we had b&b not half board). Yes you need transport to get about however we walked into town on several occasions and didn't find the 30-40 min walk that bad and we're both in our early 60's, there's actually a free shuttle bus which runs 3 times a day into town and twice back from town. "What a Greek experience! This family-run, hotel is like stepping back into a more simple, regal time. This is a stay for those willing to slow down, immerse themselves in Greek culture and enjoy a more basic experience. If you enjoy character, personality and good people this is for you. "I booked this four-star hotel for a week to celebrate my Wedding Anniversary. I am sorry to say it is not four-star and everything is old and it needs a total refurbishment. All the public areas: breakfast room- lobbies- corridors were not air conditioned because the nasty Manager would not switch it on in 40•C!! We and all the other guests could not eat the very poor breakfast in the hear. Everyone was sweating in the very sunny and unbearable room. Manager yelled at me because I complained....

"In these difficult times this hotel and its management are doing their best to remain open and offergood value for money. Clean, spacious rooms and a comfortable bed was what we really appreciated. The hotel has a few cafes nearby on the beach which were open and serving food till @8pm. The bus service runs fairly reliably and is affordable for you to explore other beaches and restaurants. Amazing stay in Marpunta Hotel

"The most amazing paradise. We stayed early August the hotel was full and still very quiet as so spaced out. We did Bed and breakfast - you could pay 30 euros for buffet style dinner which was amazing ( children 12 euros) the staff are truely magic and cannot do enough to help. There are no near by restaurants to just walk to from the hotel but they do have a free shuttle service which takes you to the local town at various times of the day. This may not be on the website but they have daily pilates, yoga, paddle boards, kayaks, tennis courts, a restaurant by the pool where the food is fantastic. We did a two centre holiday with the second part in skiathos which is better if you like some shopping! You can book all of this yourself online - no need to use a holiday company, we used seajets for the island transfer, and if you contact the hotel they will pick you up, very recommended "
