"We had high expectations of our stay at the chateau. Unfortunately we were not allowed to check in. The reservation, which I had prepaid, was not honored. We were told by the reception people they don’t work with Expedia/hofels.com. And therefore cannot let us in. This has never happened to me before. Such a big property and they kick us if? "Terrible hotel, don’t even think to go there . We spent whole night without electricity using candles . No receiptionist st night and no one to communicate with . We have to call the police to get involved and resolve this the power cut as it was too dark and impossible to stay in your roof for health and safety reason ."
