"The hotel is well located. The rooms are ok but sparsely furnished and in need of modernising. The breakfast was terrible ( plastic containers- not even bowls- for cereal and milk for cereals served from a teapot. Not what I was expecting. For me the most frustrating part was that they kept my passport at check in and then failed to return it at checkout. Surely if your system is to keep a passport you should remember to return it- it’s the only hotel of the 12 so far on this trip to Italy to...

"Lovely hotel. Approaching on arrival it has a very nice clean look, so straight away we were happy with our choice, and definitely, I would agree on a 4* Hotel. I have stayed in many areas of Italy, and this one comes close to a small handful of specific good hotels on the Amalfi coast. What I didn’t agree with, is the young staff are very loud with each other. "

"What a terrific hotel! Everyone was warm and welcoming and they upgraded us to a magnificent suite…so roomy, clean and quiet. Breakfast was lovely with continental offerings plus eggs done your way. "We arrived early but the room was ready. We received the warmest welcome. By all the staff. Not the most modern hotel , but immaculately clean..the pool area is nice, it has amazing views of the coast, and stunning sunsets. We we're full board, not something we normally have but the food was excellent..Lucia is a very young owner, a lovely man. I wish him well, he and his team deserve to do well"

"We had an amazing stay! Checked in a little late in the afternoon and pool was closing, but they made an exception and allowed up to enjoy the pool. Drinks on the pool deck were amazing! The beach club was fabulous and food was great! We were treated like royalty! Truly impressed and will definitely visit again! Scalea has beautiful beaches and now one of our favorite spots! "

"Be aware that the hotel charges a mandatory supplement (90 euros for a couple for 1 week) for the entertainment (which was OK) and includes pool aqua-aerobics, a singer and concerts every evening, but in my opinion this should be included in the upfront hotel costs, rather than hidden in small print. The biggest negative was that the hotel does not have wifi for the 2016 season (apparently it had it in 2015). The hotel has a wireless router, which you can connect to, but this is NOT connected...

"Check in was easy. There was parking which was not always the case in most hotels in Italy. Marco was so nice and bubbly showing us our rooms. Even though there was a language barrier we could understand each other. The hotel was conveniently located near our local family in Diamante and the wedding venue. Loved how beautiful the beach was at the hotel. Each room gets an assigned umbrella at the beach. When visiting family again, we would definitely stay here."
